VENOMED, mungkin nama ini tidak asing algi di telingan pecinta aliran slamming brutal death metal. Venomed yang berdiri pada tahun 2008 di Yogyakarta ini nyatanya mampu membuktikan totalitas mereka menggarap aliran ini. Di berbagai gigs telah dapat kita saksikan antusias headbanger untuk ber- headbang saat Venomed manggung. Band ini berdiri dengan formasi awal Benny ; Vocal, Rizky ; Gitar, Roy ; Drum, & Robby ; Bass. Pada bulan Mei 2009, mereka mengeluarkan demo berisi 3 track lagu yang brutal dan mematikan. Minat penggemar slamming yantanya terus memberikan respon baik pada band ini, bahkan 3 lagu milik mereka sempat dirilis oleh Metal Thai dari negara Thailand . Venomed bisa berkolaborasi dengan band-band lainnya dalam split 4 Way Supreme Entry bersama Defiated Sanity ( Jerman ), Moonfog ( Slovakia ), Splattred Orgasm ( Thailand ). Ahir 2010 terjadi perubahan formasi, yaitu masuknya Pandu Mahendra yang menggantikan posisi Benny pada Vocal. Pada tahun 2010 Venomed juga terlibat dengan beberapa produksi kompilasi yang telah beredar pada tahun 2010.
Saat ini VENOMED sedang dalam proses produksi materi untuk album yang rencananya akan launchingpertengahan tahun ini !!
